| Today, I am announcing that I am putting my full support behind I Will Vote, the DNC’s $25 million initiative to protect and expand the right to vote in every corner of this country. The right to vote is fundamental to our democracy, and defending that right is the most important work we can do as a nation. Republicans’ coordinated effort to suppress and intimidate Democratic voters -- especially voters of color -- stands in the face of what it means to be an American. We must fight back with everything we have at our disposal. Through I Will Vote our party will continue educating voters, registering them, turning them out to the polls, and protecting the right to vote, so that all eligible Americans are able to participate in our democracy and make their voices heard. But that work is just as expensive as it is important. Join me in supporting the DNC’s I Will Vote initiative by making a $7 donation to the DNC today: When Americans vote, they have a say in what happens to them and in their communities. The DNC is taking this fight directly to the states -- holding Republican lawmakers accountable, educating folks on the ground, turning out voters, and empowering community leaders. Our party is relying on the support of this grassroots team to continue running these critical voter protection and expansion programs through I Will Vote. If you can afford it, make a $7 donation to the DNC so that our party has the resources to defend the right to vote, safeguard our democracy, and elect Democrats nationwide who’ll do the same. Thank you for doing your part, Kamala Kamala Harris Vice President of the United States P.S. When “We, the people” includes all the people, our democracy is stronger. Donate $7 to the DNC today so every eligible American can make their voice heard in upcoming elections. Kamala Harris: Adam Schultz / Biden for President Photo. CC BY-NC-SA 2.0 |
