In the US, you can change the governing party, but you cannot change the system. The American dictatorship is electoral. The Chinese dictatorship is popular. How to explain the strength of China's PC?,

The Chinese CP was founded in 1921 at a congress of 13 people. Today it has more than 90 million members. It has governed the most populous country in the world for 70 years. It turned a poor country into the world's second largest economy.

The Brazilian CP was founded a year after the CP of China and to this day it has not found the path to the liberation of the Brazilian people.

The Chinese CP, like the Brazilian CP, was guided by the Soviet CP since its foundation. The difference is that there they were able to devise a strategy according to the history of Chinese reality.

The orientation of the Communist International was to give priority to the working class and to ally itself with the Chinese Nationalist Party. Under the influence of Mao-Tse-Tung, the CP of China did not follow these guidelines. It elaborated its own strategy. The priority became the peasants as the (main) driving force of the revolution. The working class continued to be the driving force (direction) represented by the Communist Party. The revolution would not be an insurrection (uprising) in the cities, as it was in Russia. In China, the revolution would take place through the Prolonged People's War (GPP) in the countryside, to encircle the cities. The seizure of power would take place through liberated rural areas in which popular power was taking root. The working masses were organized into Unions, Associations and Popular Movements.  

Five years after the founding of the Party, in 1926 the People's Army was created. The lack of financial resources for the liberation struggle was resolved with the creation of a Peasant Bank, with convertible currency. With this, they escaped the moneylenders, who charged exorbitant interest, and broke the government's economic blockade.

The “Patriotic Funds” financed the production of the peasants, the activities of the CP and the expansion of the Popular Army.

When, in 1949, the People's Republic of China was proclaimed, there was already the People's Bank of China (Central Bank), which still exists today. Between the founding of the PCC and the conquest of Central Power, on October 1, 1949, only 28 years passed.

In 2019, the People's Republic of China completed 70 years of its foundation. From a poor nation, it became the second economy in the world.

The US knows that China will soon become the world's first power. They also know that it remains revolutionary as long as it is under the guidance of the Communist Party. That's why the cold war is against the PC.

If he fails to ideologically destroy the Communist Party, he may turn the cold war into a "hot" military war. It hasn't done that yet because Russia is a military power and is China's ally.
